HOUSE IN THE TREES
The site was designed as a sanctuary from the city and overlooks beautiful trees, bush and harbour views. The house embraces the site and almost grows out of it.
Extensive use has been made of recycled hardwoods and materials chosen for their relationship to nature. The interior uses principles of Japanese architecture in the carefully controlled sequence of views and vistas.
