DIVE HOTEL

The Dive Hotel transformed a tired boarding house in Coogee into a small hotel. A diving figure peels out of the façade – announcing the hotel’s presence on the thriving beachfront – and expressing the new life and personality that the renovation has given the old building. The rooms have been transformed from inwardly focused rooms into spaces that allow guests to revel in the sea-side atmosphere. A delightful common area of guests at the rear opens out into a sheltered garden.

The project also included approval to build a penthouse apartment on the upper most level.
